WELCOME TO MY NEW SECTION called "Narrow Gauge Roundhouse" This is the other catalog that is similar to the standard gauge railroad engines that I discuss in my blogs but will be housing my new category of Narrow Gauge engines. This section will be a seasonal project. Further details can be found below.


Important Details

  • 1. Time Frame

    • This section will run between late June (6/19)- late July (7/31) as this will only be for the summer season.

  • 2. How many posts for this limited series?

    • For this limited series, will only have 12 narrow gauge posts as this runs between June 19th-July 31st

  • 3. Which countries will be doing for Narrow Gauge?

    • I will mainly be focusing on the United Kingdom for this series with close ties to Mattel's TV show Thomas & Friends.

Steam Train Post 2: Furness Railway K2 Engine

Furness Railway K2 Engine As we travel through the history rail train, we come to our second train stop. A fter departing from the London ,Brighton & South Coast Railroad, we arrived at our second stop. The second stop takes place on the Furness Railway with their Class 21 mix traffic tender engine. The FR Class 21 are also know as the K2 and Larger Seagulls whose nicknamed were by their designer of the class for the Furness Railway. FR Class 21s are one of the mix traffic tender engines meaning they can pull both freight and passengers trains on the Furness Railway.
