Steam Train Post 10: London Midland & Scotland Fowler Class 3F locomotive
As we continued on the history train journey, we arrived at our tenth stop of our journey. Our tenth stop is at the London Midland & Scottish with their Fowler Class 3F or for short "Jinty" engines. Couple of interesting points to be made about this engine from research found 1) represent the ultimate development of the Midland Railway's six-coupled tank engines and 2) based on rebuilt by Henry Fowler of the Midland Railway 2441 class locomotive.

Conductor Wolf's Though on this Train
In my own view while doing the research of this train, I found this engine to be an interesting steam locomotive. The reason why I say this is even though these are the rebuilt of the Midland Railroad 2441 class by Samuel Waite Johnson in 1829, they bear a similarity to Billinton E2 tank engine. In fact they are similar because of their wheel chassis being 0-6-0 & both have a total of 6 wheels. Some of their differences includes, their designer, speed & number of locomotives built along with being on different rail networks for Great Britain
