Steam Train Post 14: Bagnall 0-4-0STs Locomotives

 



As we continue on  the history train journey, we arrived at our 14th stop. With this train trip, we leave New Zealand and travel back to England to Cornwall,England's Bagnall Port of Par to see their two special locomotives known as Bagnall 0-4-0STs saddle tank engines.  

Bagnall 0-4-0STs Details 

  1. Railroad/Basic: Bodmin and Wenford Railway/Bagnall 0-4-0ST

  2. Engine: Saddle Tank  Engine 

  3. Designer: W.G Bagnall Ltd. 

  4. Builder: 

    1. Castle Engine Works => 2 locomotives

    2. Total 2 locomotives

  5. Built (Year): 1937 & 1953 => 2 locomotives 

    1. 1937 =>  1  locomotives

    2. 1953 => 1 locomotives

    3. Total: 2 locomotives

  6. Withdrawn: From active service to historical service (meaning moved to heritage & Museum operation services)

  7. Number of Wheels: 4 wheels

  8. Configuration: 0-4-0

  9. Top Speed: 15-35 mph/24.1402-56 kilometer per hour (Estimated but unconfirm even by research)

  10. Preserved: 2 real locomotives & 2 fictional locomotives
