LMS Black Five 

As we continued on  the history train journey, we arrived at our 21st stop. With this train trip, we leave Austin Motor Company's Longbridge Works and head on over to the London, Midland & Scottish Railway to see their Black Five Steam Locomotive.

  4. Builder:  LMS Crewe, Derby & Horwich Works along with Vulcan Foundry & Armstrong Whitmore

    2. LMS Derby Works => 54 Locomotives

    3. LMS Horwich Works => 120 Locomotives

    4. Vulcan Foundry => 100 Locomotives

    5. Armstrong Whitmore => 327 Locomotives 

    6. Total: 842 were built

    1.  824 were scrapped
