Post-Thanksgiving Message 2022: December Blog Plans

Before we start,  

I hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday (Thursday 11/24/22) enjoyed being with their friends and family and hope everyone had something to be thankful for something during the thanksgiving holiday and everyday. For those who didn't/couldn't read my thanksgiving message you can find it by going up to the search bar and type "Thanksgiving Message 2022" to read it. I share what I am thankful for over on that post. Now on to business of this post....

Note to all in regard to Winter Blog Schedule:

We will be shifting to a winter scheduling between December 1st 2022-March 21st, 2023. Please be patient as we will be shifting to a winter schedule here on the blog.  Down below are announcements  relating to some changes that will be taking place in December 2022. 

December 2022 Announcements

Everything below will be happen in December 2022!
  • Opinion & Answer 2022 Editions Ending for Winter Break 
    • The Opinion & Answer 2022 Editions will be ending December 9nd, 2022 with Part 26 to end the 2022 Opinion & Answer Edition. I do hope everyone enjoy the 26 part Opinion & Answer 2022 Edition. 
  • Steam Train Posts 2022 Series Ending for Winter Break
    • The Steam train Post 2022 series will be ending on Sunday December 4th. So this would end the 2022 series with 60 Steam Train Posts so far on this blog. Nice way to end the first series of the blog with 60 Steam Train posts with some of them being combine onto 1 big post for time constraint.  
  • Station Cat Weekly Editions 
    • For the month of December, I'll be doing a week along edition relating to "Railway Cats" where I'll spotlight the railroad cats of United Kingdom, Scotland, Japan and United States. Sunday 11/27/22 will have the following with dates of when they will be published.  The list below are the cats that will be spotlighted:
      1. Tama: ‘Station Master’ at Kishi Station
      2. Felix: Huddersfield Train Station Cat  
      3. Hector: Redruth Train Station Cat (Cornwall)
      4. Jess: Andover Train Station Cat (Hampshire)
      5. Stan: Charlbury Train Station Cat (Oxfordshire)
      6. Hi-Vis: Inverness Train Station Cat (Scotland)
      7. Paul: South Parkway Station (Liverpool)
      8. Chessie: Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Mascot 
  • Railroad Winter Week Series
    • Doing another week long series but this will be about the Railway winter equipment series. Sunday December 4th will have information on the week of when I'm doing this series. Mostly will be be towards the end of December. 

  • Happy Holiday & New Year Notes 
    • December 25th & December 31st will have my Happy Holiday & New Years Eve post that will be published on December 25th (Happy Holiday Note) & December 31st will see my New Year Eve Post. Mid-December will have further information in regards to these messages.

Good Saturday afternoon folks. It is time for another edition of Steam Train Posts, #95-98 for Saturday May 13th. On this edition of Steam Train Posts, we take a trip from the Pennsylvania Railroad to Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway (S&DJR) to see their Sentinel locomotives before going to London and South Western Railway to see their N15 class locomotives.
